Has BBC Radio Stoke shown anti-English bias?

We thank the Daily Express online team for giving us fair treatment as BBC Radio Stoke had initially stated they were not interested in covering the story. Even when we informed them what the policeman had said "The Jerusalem thing going and the [flag saying] English Parliament etcetera, etcetera - some people might take offence to that. I’m not saying people will but I’m saying some people might take offence at that.” Please read the following an open the links as it give an insight into how difficult our campaigning can be and some of the anti-English bias we are encountering. Listen via The CEP Youtube channel https://youtu.be/fooRhm0DEgY Now read the Stoke Sentinel newspaper article http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/english-parliament-campaigner-claims-he-was-stopped-by-police-in-hanley-for-playing-jerusalem/story-30149872-detail/story.html Now read the police statement sent to the Stoke Sentinel: "Staffordshire Police approached a vehicle that was broadcasting loud music in a city centre location.  Officers made enquires as to the circumstances and gave advice to the occupants,. Enquiries were concluded and the vehicle was allowed to proceed on its way". We asked the Stoke Sentinel newspaper why they had not contacted us so they could watch the full video and why they had not challenged the accuracy of the police statement. I also informed Stoke Sentinel that the Campaign for an English Parliament had left telephone messages, e-mailed and tweeted requests asking Gareth Snell, the prospective Labour MP for Stoke Central, to condemn the police for warning the Campaign for an English Parliament that flying England’s flag and playing Jerusalem in English Street may offend people.  Tom Burnett, the Sentinel reporter who wrote the article stated he did not want to criticise labour.   Has BBC Radio Stoke shown anti-English bias? On the 12^th February 2017 the Campaign for an English Parliament attempted to contact BBC Radio Stoke to inform them that their campaign vehicle on the 11^th February 2017 had been stopped by police saying, that playing Jerusalem and displaying the English flag could offend locals. At the time BBC Radio Stoke stated they were not interested in covering the story. On the 20^th February 2017, BBC Radio Stoke was sent the link to the Daily Express online article entitled:- ‘Fury as police warn Stoke campaigner England flag and Jerusalem hymn 'may OFFEND locals’ Only then did BBC Radio Stoke decide they would cover the story but they covered the story in a biased and anti –English way. The full video clip was sent to BBC Radio Stoke by the Campaign for an English Parliament just as the full video clip was sent to the Daily Express online team. The Daily Express clipped the piece at the significant part where the policeman said: "The Jerusalem thing going and the [flag saying] English Parliament etcetera, etcetera - some people might take offence to that. I’m not saying people will but I’m saying some people might take offence at that.” In the BBC Radio Stoke article that significant part of the video clip was edited out. The comment by the policeman was significant because it was the very part that the Campaign for an English Parliament was complaining about. The point of the complaint was that they had been treated in an anti-English and discriminatory manner by the police. Editing the policeman’s discriminatory comment out of the clip was no doubt intended to mislead BBC’s listeners into believing that the police had only been asking about what the vehicle was doing instead of making any comment about Jerusalem, the English flag and an English parliament being offensive to locals.
